Ok thanks, unfortunatly I don't use Windows and the linux version of Google Music Manager isn't really stable. Dont point it to very large folders of photos, it takes ages to index. Anything that supports DLNA/uPNP (Kodi, VLC.) will see the share and lets you stream directly from the NAS. Use Media Indexing to point to the folder where you have your media. It then automatically gets uploaded whenever I add new music to my Synology. Make sure Media Server package is installed and running on Synology. Note: Only DSM admin or users belonging to the administrators group can manage live streaming settings. Then simply selected Synology / Music as the folder to upload music from.
